The Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) softball routed the visiting Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN), 9-4 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Fighting 59ers now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hobart for a Northwest Crossroads outing on Thursday, May 8. Andrean will encounter a Brickies team coming off a 15-11 league loss to Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN). The Brickies record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Kankakee Valley moves to 8-7 on the season. The Kougars host Highland (Highland, IN) to encounter the Trojans in a Northwest Crossroads outing on Thursday, May 8.
