Kentucky High School Softball - George Rogers Clark edges Bourbon County
April 22, 2025: Winchester, KY 40391 In Tuesday's league match, the host George Rogers Clark Cardinals softball team scored a tight 2-0 win over the Bourbon County Colonels.
The Cardinals (15-4) will now prepare for their match against Wolfe County (Campton, KY). The Wolves come into the non-league match with a 11-7 record. In their last match, Wolfe County by Perry County Central (Hazard, KY), 8-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Colonels battle the Paris Greyhounds (Paris, KY) in a District 40 match, on Thursday, April 24. Bourbon County will attempt to better on its 5-13 season record. The Greyhounds come into the match with a 12-8 record after their 15-5 non-league win over Burgin (Burgin, KY).
