The Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL) softball nipped the host Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL), 8-7 in Tuesday's league outing.

The J-Hawks now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hononegah for a Northern Illinois NIC-9 outing on Wednesday, April 23. Jefferson will encounter a Indians team coming off a 10-0 league win over Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL). The Indians record now stands at 9-1.
