May 5, 2025: Rockford, IL 61108 In Monday's league test, the Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL) softball squad got by the host Rockford East E-Rabs (Rockford, IL), by a tally of 1-0.
Next, the Pretzels meet the Harlem Huskies (Machesney Park, IL) in a Northern Illinois NIC-9 test, on Tuesday, May 6. Freeport will attempt to advance on its 6-16 season record. The Huskies go into the test with a 15-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Jefferson (Rockford, IL).
The E-Rabs (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL). The Knights go into the Northern Illinois NIC-9 test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, Rockford Auburn held off Guilford (Rockford, IL), 7-5, in a league test.
