April 22, 2025: Oakhurst, NJ 07755 Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ), 6-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Ocean Township improves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Spartans travel to Henry Hudson (Highlands, NJ) to play the Admirals in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 23. The Admirals enter the game with a record of 2-5. Henry Hudson won 13-7 in their recent league game against Keansburg (Keansburg, NJ)
The Purple Roses now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Henry Hudson for a Shore - B Central game on Monday, April 28. St. Rose will play a Admirals squad coming off a 21-5 non-league loss to Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ). The Admirals record now stands at 2-7.
