Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), 11-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Belen advances its record to 14-9 on the season. The Eagles host Grants (Grants, NM) to battle the Pirates in a 4A District 5 match on Tuesday, April 28. The Pirates come into the match with a record of 16-8. Grants won 11-1 in their recent league match against Highland (Albuquerque, NM)

The Vikings now have a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hope Christian for a 4A District 6 match on Friday, April 24. Valley will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 8-5 league win over Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies record now stands at 17-6.
