Game Summary
The Warriors struck in the 11th minute when Avery Kingsepp's long throw in found Emily Fox in space, and the freshman made no mistake as she slid the ball past the keeper. The Warriors doubled the lead with 59 seconds left in the half as Holly Deutsch delivered a perfect ball to Fox, who beat two defenders to create enough room to curl at 22 yard shot around the keeper. Deutsch almost made it 3-0 with seconds remaining, but her shot crashed down off the crossbar and was ruled to not have completely crossed the line. Riley Schimanski made it 3-0 when she took a pass from Kingsepp, flicked it over her defender, and ran on to finish the breakaway. The Warriors were denied by the post in the 45th on a penalty kick.
