Connecticut High School Softball - Wethersfield bounces South Windsor
April 23, 2022: Wethersfield, CT 06109 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Wethersfield Eagles (Wethersfield, CT) and the visiting South Windsor Bobcats (South Windsor, CT), saw Wethersfield's softball squad nip South Windsor by a count of 8-2.
The Eagles now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hartford Public for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 27. Wethersfield will face a Owls squad coming off a 18-2 non-league loss to Newington (Newington, CT). The Owls record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, South Windsor falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to RHAM (Hebron, CT) to face the Raptors in a Central Connecticut - East match on Monday, April 25. The Raptors enter the match with a record of 6-2. RHAM lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Hall (West Hartford, CT)
