April 23, 2024: Allendale, NJ 07401 Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ), 4-1 in a league challenge.
The Maroons now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mahwah for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 23. Ridgewood will battle a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 10-9 league loss to Westwood (Washington Township, NJ). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-10.
With the loss, Northern Highlands falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ) to battle the Raiders in a Big North - Freedom challenge on Wednesday, April 24. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 9-4. Ramapo won 13-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ)
