April 23, 2024: Rome, NY 13441 The Rome Free Academy Black Knights the visiting Watertown Cyclones softball squad by a count of 9-6 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Black Knights (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Camden (Camden, NY). The Blue Devils go into the Section 3 Tri-Valley battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Camden nudged Vernon-Verona-Sherrill (Verona, NY), 10-1, in a league battle.
The Cyclones now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they host South Jefferson for a non-league battle on Monday, April 29. Watertown will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Wellsville (Wellsville, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 6-1.
