The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Central Knights (Providence, RI) and the visiting Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI), saw Central's baseball team get by Narragansett by a tally of 2-1.

The Knights (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Chieftains enter the Division 2 battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Ponaganset held off Toll Gate (Warwick, RI), 5-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Mariners face the Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) in a Division 1 battle, on Friday, April 25. Narragansett will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 7-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Moses Brown (Providence, RI).
