The Point Loma Pointers lacrosse squad scored 9 points and limited the host Helix Highlanders to 7 in the Pointers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Pointers now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they host Coronado for a Western challenge on Friday, April 25. Point Loma will clash with a Islanders squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over University (San Francisco, CA). The Islanders record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Helix falls to 3-2 on the year. The Highlanders host Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA) to clash with the Monarchs in a Grossmont challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Monarchs go into the challenge with a record of 3-10.
