Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Forest Hills Rangers (Sidman, PA), 9-8 in a league game.

With the triumph, Westmont Hilltop upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Hilltoppers host Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA) to play the Golden Tigers in a Laurel Highlands 1 game on Friday, April 25. The Golden Tigers enter the game with a record of 2-9. Hollidaysburg lost 15-1 in their recent league game against Bedford (Bedford, PA)

The Rangers now own a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Penns Valley Area for a non-league contest on Friday, April 25. Forest Hills will face a Rams squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Clearfield (Clearfield, PA). The Rams record now stands at 5-3.
