The Kenston Forest Kavaliers (Blackstone, VA) softball routed the visiting Southampton Academy Raiders (Courtland, VA), 12-3 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Kavaliers now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amelia Academy for a Virginia Colonial outing on Thursday, April 24. Kenston Forest will encounter a Patriots team coming off a 16-0 league loss to Fuqua (Farmville, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Southampton Academy moves to 6-5 on the season. The Raiders travel to Isle of Wight Academy (Isle of Wight, VA) to encounter the Chargers in a non-league outing on Friday, April 25.
