April 23, 2025: Shady Spring, WV 25918 Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV), 3-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Nicholas County upgrades its record to 6-8 on the year. The Grizzlies host Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV) to play the Red Devils in a game on Friday, April 25. The Red Devils enter the game with a record of 12-8. Oak Hill lost 7-4 in their recent league game against Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV)
The Tigers now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Independence for a game on Thursday, April 24. Shady Spring will play a Patriots squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 15-6.
