The Summit Spartans (Spring Hill, TN) softball routed the host Franklin Admirals (Franklin, TN), 9-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Spartans now sport a 12-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockvale for a non-league outing on Monday, April 27. Summit will encounter a team coming off a 13-10 league loss to Oakland (Murfreesboro, TN). The record now stands at 7-13.

With the loss, Franklin moves to 14-7 on the season. The Admirals host Dickson County (Dickson, TN) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 28. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 27-4.
