In Saturday's league test, the host Preston Knights lacrosse squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Capital Cougars.

The Knights now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Buckhannon-Upshur for a WVSLA -DII East test on Tuesday, April 27. Preston will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Buccaneers record now stands at 0-2.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 1. Capital will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Mohigans come into the test with a 3-1 record after their 9-8 non-league win over George Washington (Charleston, WV).
