North Carolina High School Soccer - Corvian Community nudges Piedmont Community Charter
April 24, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28269 Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals face the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 25. Corvian Community will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 9-1 league win over Concord Academy (Concord, NC).
The Patriots now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jackson Day for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Piedmont Community Charter will face a Mariners team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Mariners record now stands at 4-3.
