North Carolina High School Soccer - Piedmont Community Charter nudges Corvian Community
March 29, 2023: Gastonia, NC 28052 The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) soccer nudged the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 2-1 in Wednesday's league bout.
With the win, Piedmont Community Charter moves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Concord Academy (Concord, NC) to battle the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Concord Academy won 9-1 in their recent league bout against Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC)
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a Metro Eight 1A bout, on Monday, April 3. Corvian Community will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC).
