Washington, DC High School Lacrosse - Landon gets by Gonzaga
April 24, 2024: Washington, DC 20001 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Landon Bears (Bethesda, MD) and the host Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC), saw Landon's lacrosse team nudge Gonzaga by a margin of 11-10.
The Bears (11-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Albans (Washington, DC). The Bulldogs enter the Interstate Athletic challenge with a 7-7 record.
The Eagles (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA). The Cardinals enter the VISAA Division 1 challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Bishop Ireton edged St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD), 9-8, in a non-league challenge.
