The Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA) softball routed the visiting Novato Hornets (Novato, CA), 19-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Giants (14-5) will now prepare for their bout against Montgomery (Santa Rosa, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 3-9 record. In their last bout, Montgomery was routed by Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA), 5-2, in a league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 2-19 record. They play next when they host Piner for a non-league bout on Friday, April 26. Novato will confront a Prospectors squad coming off a 12-8 league loss to Ukiah (Ukiah, CA). The Prospectors record now stands at 9-8.
