The Highland Trojans baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Hammond Central Wolves to 2 in the Trojans non-league win on Thursday.

The Trojans now own a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Andrean for a Northwest Crossroads test on Monday, April 28. Highland will clash with a Fighting 59ers team coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Fighting 59ers record now stands at 11-1.

With the defeat, Hammond Central drops to 6-4 on the year. The Wolves host Calumet Christian (Griffith, IN) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, April 26. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 5-4. Calumet Christian won 9-7 in their recent non-league test against Whiting (Whiting, IN)
