In Thursday's non-league game, the host Homestead Spartans baseball team scored a close 4-0 win over the Norwell Knights.

The Spartans (10-1) will now prepare for their game against South Bend Adams (South Bend, IN). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 0-10 record. In their last game, South Bend Adams was overwhelmed by South Bend Saint Joseph (South Bend, IN), 10-0, in a league game.
