The Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers baseball squad (Philipsburg, PA), was overwhelmed 8-3 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Huntingdon Bearcats (Huntingdon, PA)

With the triumph, Huntingdon moves its record to 9-3 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, PA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league contest on Friday, April 25. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 6-3. Northern Bedford County won 12-1 in their recent league contest against Southern Huntingdon County (Three Springs, PA)

The Mountaineers now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellefonte for a Laurel Highlands East contest on Monday, April 28. Philipsburg-Osceola will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over State College (State College, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 7-6.
