South Carolina High School Soccer - Gray Collegiate Academy nudges Gilbert
April 24, 2025: West Columbia, SC 29169 The Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Gilbert Indians to 1 in the War Eagles league victory on Thursday.
The War Eagles now hold a 19-2 record. They play next when they host Brookland-Cayce for a AAAA Region 4 bout on Tuesday, April 29. Gray Collegiate Academy will play a Bearcats squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to North Augusta (North Augusta, SC). The Bearcats record now stands at 9-10.
With the loss, Gilbert moves to 10-4 on the year. The Indians host Airport (West Columbia, SC) to play the Eagles in a AAAA Region 4 bout on Monday, April 28. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-11. Airport lost 1-0 in their recent league bout against Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC)
