Maryland High School Lacrosse - Quince Orchard drops to Damascus
April 24, 2025: Damascus, MD 20872 In Thursday's non-league test, the Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD), by a count of 19-11.
Next up, the Hornets battle the Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD) in a Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A test, on Saturday, April 26. Damascus will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the test with a 5-4 record after their 12-7 league win over Einstein (Kensington, MD).
The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Blake (Silver Spring, MD). The Bengals enter the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Blake was overwhelmed by Whitman (Bethesda, MD), 16-10, in a non-league test.
