North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Frontier Falcons (Chalmers, IN), 19-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, North Newton improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Spartans host Knox (Knox, IN) to play the Redskins in a non-league game on Saturday, April 26. The Redskins enter the game with a record of 5-5. Knox lost 8-6 in their recent league game against Jimtown (Elkhart, IN)

The Falcons now hold a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to North Judson-San Pierre for a non-league game on Friday, April 25. Frontier will play a Bluejays squad coming off a 10-6 league win over Caston (Fulton, IN). The Bluejays record now stands at 3-4.
