Illinois High School Softball - Bloomington Central Catholic bounces Rantoul
April 25, 2022: Rantoul, IL 61866 Bloomington Central Catholic Saints (Bloomington, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL), 14-2 in a league challenge.
The Saints now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host Illinois Valley Central for a Illini Prairie challenge on Wednesday, April 27. Bloomington Central Catholic will battle a Grey Ghosts squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Pontiac (Pontiac, IL). The Grey Ghosts record now stands at 11-4.
With the loss, Rantoul falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Eagles host Danville (Danville, IL) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 26. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 8-5. Danville won 19-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Centennial (Champaign, IL)
