Minnesota High School Softball - Kimball bounces Albany
April 25, 2024: Albany, MN 56307 Kimball Cubs (Kimball, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Albany Huskies (Albany, MN), 10-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Cubs now own a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holdingford for a Central Minnesota challenge on Monday, April 29. Kimball will battle a Huskers squad coming off a 19-14 league loss to Paynesville (Paynesville, MN). The Huskers record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Albany falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN) to battle the Crusaders in a Granite Ridge challenge on Friday, April 26. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a record of 12-2. St. Cloud Cathedral won 9-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Alexandria (Alexandria, MN)
