April 25, 2024: Bourbon, IN 46504 The Triton Trojans softball team (Bourbon, IN), was routed 17-0 in Thursday's non-league test with the visiting Bremen Lions (Bremen, IN)
Coming up next, the Lions encounter the Rochester Zebras (Rochester, IN) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 26. Bremen will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Zebras enter the test with a 5-7 record after their 6-2 league loss to Manchester (North Manchester, IN).

Game Summary
Bremen softball got off to a slow start on Thursday, only getting 3 runs in the first 3 innings, but then exploded for 5 in the 4th, one in the 5th, & closed out with 8 runs in the 6th.
The bats were hot again pounding out 17 hits led by Mickie Shively with 3 hits including her second grand slam in as many nights tallying 5 RBI. Eliana Grubbs, Chrissy Grabowski (2B), Delainey Neher (HR-4 RBI), Yajaira Jimenez, Elle Kling, & Isabella Calentine added two hits each. Peyton Mason (2B) & Zoey Price each had a hit as well.
Grabowski picked up the win from the circle allowing only two hits striking out 7, Peyton Mason finished the game tossing the last two innings allowing only one hit & fanning four.
