Minnesota High School Softball - Rogers bounces Centennial
April 25, 2024: Circle Pines, MN 55014 The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Rogers Royals (Rogers, MN) and the host Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN), saw Rogers's softball squad nip Centennial by a count of 11-5.
The Royals now sport a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they host Robbinsdale Armstrong for a Northwest Suburban match on Tuesday, April 30. Rogers will face a Falcons squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Waconia (Waconia, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Centennial falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Elk River (Elk River, MN) to face the Elks in a Northwest Suburban match on Friday, April 26. The Elks enter the match with a record of 1-8. Elk River lost 12-0 in their recent league match against Champlin Park (Champlin, MN)
