Washington High School Softball - Mead bounces Central Valley
April 25, 2024: Spokane, WA 99218 Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Central Valley Bears (Spokane Valley, WA), 13-3 in a league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Cheney for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Friday, April 26. Mead will face a Blackhawks squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to University (Spokane, WA). The Blackhawks record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Central Valley falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Ferris (Spokane, WA) to face the Saxons in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Friday, April 26. The Saxons enter the challenge with a record of 7-9. Ferris lost 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA)
