Washington High School Softball - Central Valley gets by Ferris
April 26, 2024: Spokane, WA 99223 The Central Valley Bears nipped the host Ferris Saxons softball squad by a final score of 13-12 in Friday's league battle.
The Bears (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Cheney (Cheney, WA). The Blackhawks go into the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Cheney held off Mead (Spokane, WA), 8-7, in a league battle.
The Saxons now possess a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Lewis & Clark for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane battle on Tuesday, April 30. Ferris will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 17-1 league loss to Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-11.
