In Friday's league game, the visiting Canisius Crusaders baseball team scored a close 7-0 win over the St. Mary's Lancers.

The Crusaders (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Hamburg (Hamburg, NY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Hamburg nudged Amherst Central (Amherst, NY), 9-2, in a league game.

Next, the Lancers play the Iroquois Redhawks (Elma, NY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 26. St. Mary's will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Redhawks go into the game with a 4-0 record after their 16-6 league win over Lake Shore (Angola, NY).
