Maine High School Lacrosse - Thornton Academy overwhelms South Portland
April 25, 2025: Saco, ME 04072 The Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) lacrosse routed the visiting South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME), 11-5 in Friday's league outing.
The Trojans now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brunswick for a non-league outing on Friday, May 2.
With the loss, South Portland falls to 0-2 on the year. The Red riots host Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME) to face the Scots in a Class A outing on Tuesday, April 29. The Scots go into the outing with a record of 3-1. Bonny Eagle lost 7-2 in their recent league outing against Windham (Windham, ME)
