Maine High School Lacrosse - Thornton Academy overwhelms Scarborough
May 7, 2025: Scarborough, ME 04074 The Thornton Academy Trojans lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the host Scarborough Red Storm to 2 in the Trojans league triumph on Wednesday.
The Trojans now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Windham for a Class A challenge on Friday, May 9. Thornton Academy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 20-2 league loss to Falmouth (Falmouth, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Scarborough falls to 1-5 on the year. The Red storm host Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Oak Hill won 16-7 in their recent league challenge against Erskine Academy (South China, ME)
