Connecticut High School Softball - Holy Cross bounces Ansonia
April 25, 2025: Waterbury, CT 06708 The Holy Cross Crusaders softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Ansonia Chargers to 0 in the Crusaders league win on Friday.
The Crusaders now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seymour for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 29. Holy Cross will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Ansonia moves to 1-5 on the season. The Chargers host Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT) to confront the Spartans in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass battle on Monday, April 28. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 2-8. Waterbury Career Academy lost 19-1 in their recent league battle against St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT)
