In Saturday's non-league test, the Seymour Wildcats (Seymour, CT) softball squad got by the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders (Waterbury, CT), by a tally of 7-6.

Next, the Wildcats meet the St. Paul Catholic Falcons (Bristol, CT) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 28. Seymour will attempt to advance on its 17-4 season record. The Falcons go into the test with a 19-2 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Watertown (Watertown, CT).

The Crusaders (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Pomperaug was nudged by Stratford (Stratford, CT), 7-6, in a league test.
