Maryland High School Softball - Chopticon gets by Huntingtown
April 26, 2023: Morganza, MD 20660 The Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) softball nipped the visiting Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD), 5-4 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Braves (14-2) will now prepare for their bout against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Hornets go into the Southern Maryland bout with a 5-7 record. In their last bout, Great Mills held off Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD), 22-6, in a league bout.
The Hurricanes now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they host North Point for a Southern Maryland bout on Thursday, April 27. Huntingtown will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 8-1 league loss to McDonough (Pomfret, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 6-8.
