The Huntingtown Hurricanes routed the host North Point Eagles softball squad by a count of 18-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Hurricanes (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against McDonough (Pomfret, MD). The Rams go into the Southern Maryland battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, McDonough topped Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD), 18-2, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Chopticon for a Southern Maryland battle on Friday, April 14. North Point will meet a Braves squad coming off a 21-2 league win over Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The Braves record now stands at 9-1.
