In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Calumet Christian Patriots baseball team scored a nice 15-4 win over the Hammond Central Wolves.

The Patriots (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN). The Fighting Eagles go into the non-league game with a 0-8 record. In their last game, Lake Station Edison was overwhelmed by Marquette Catholic (Michigan City, IN), 11-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Wolves play the Merrillville Pirates (Merrillville, IN) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 28. Hammond Central will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Pirates go into the game with a 2-9 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN).
