Maryland High School Lacrosse - Walter Johnson drops to Damascus
April 26, 2025: Bethesda, MD 20814 Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) followers exited the stadium satisfied Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the host Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD), 14-8 in a league game.
With the victory, Damascus advances its record to 8-3 on the season. The Hornets travel to Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD) to play the Coyotes in a Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A game on Tuesday, April 29. The Coyotes come into the game with a record of 5-5. Clarksburg won 9-8 in their recent non-league game against Churchill (Potomac, MD)
The Wildcats now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sherwood for a Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A game on Monday, April 28. Walter Johnson will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 15-7 league win over Whitman (Bethesda, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 10-0.
