Nevada High School Softball - Basic held off by Liberty
In Saturday's non-league test, the Liberty Patriots (Henderson, NV) softball squad got by the visiting Basic Wolves (Henderson, NV), by a tally of 10-9.
Next, the Patriots clash with the Centennial Bulldogs (Las Vegas, NV) in a 5A South - Mountain test, on Tuesday, April 29. Liberty will attempt to advance on its 13-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 13-11 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV).
The Wolves (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV). The Firehawks go into the 4A Sky test with a 4-14 record. In their last test, Eldorado held off Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV), 16-5, in a non-league test.
