Massachusetts High School Baseball - Braintree holds off Needham
Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Needham Rockets (Needham, MA), 7-3 in a league test.
With the win, Braintree upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Wamps host Weymouth (South Weymouth, MA) to battle the Wildcats in a Bay State - Carey test on Monday, April 30. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 5-4. Weymouth won 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Wellesley (Wellesley, MA)
With the defeat, Needham falls to 3-7 on the season. The Rockets travel to Newton North (Newtonville, MA) to battle the Tigers in a Bay State - Carey test on Monday, April 30. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-6. Newton North lost 13-8 in their recent league test against Framingham (Framingham, MA)
