Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA) and the host Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA), saw River Valley's baseball squad knock off Homer-Center by a count of 14-5.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the United Lions (Armagh, PA) in a Heritage battle, on Friday, April 29. River Valley will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 5-4 record after their 7-0 league win over Penns Manor (Clymer, PA).
