First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC), 8-2 in a league test.

With the win, First Flight upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Nighthawks host Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA) to battle the Gators in a non-league test on Monday, May 1. The Gators come into the test with a record of 16-6. Greenbrier Christian Academy lost 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Cox (Virginia Beach, VA)

With the defeat, Pasquotank County falls to 13-6 on the season. The Panthers host Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC) to battle the Eagles in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A test on Monday, May 1.
