The First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) baseball trounced the host Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC), 12-4 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Nighthawks play the Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 18. First Flight will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 1-6 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC).

The Eagles now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holmes for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A contest on Tuesday, March 21. Northeastern will play a Aces squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Aces record now stands at 3-4.
