McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA), 6-2 in a league test.

With the win, McClatchy upgrades its record to 15-8 on the season. The Lions travel to Franklin (Stockton, CA) to battle the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Saturday, April 29. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 11-11.

With the defeat, Laguna Creek falls to 10-9 on the season. The Cardinals host Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, April 29.
