April 27, 2024: Kouts, IN 46347 The Kouts Mustangs & Fillies softball team (Kouts, IN), was routed 11-7 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Bremen Lions (Bremen, IN)
Coming up next, the Lions encounter the New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN) in a Northern Indiana test, on Monday, April 29. Bremen will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Bremen Girls Softball team traveled to Kouts this past Saturday and battled the windy conditions to win another slugfest 11-7.
There was a total of 7 home runs, 4 by Kouts & 3 by the Lions. Mickie Shively had two & Delainey Neher had one dinger for Bremen, while Sophia Tikalsky had three & Cassie Breitake one for Kouts.
Chrissy Grabowski & Avery Wildauer had 3 hits, Neher & Shively two, Eliana Grubbs (2B), Yajaira Jimenz (2B), Peyton Mason & Isabella Calentine each had one hit.
Grabowski scattered 11 hits to pick up the win from the circle.
