The crowd at Sunday's non-league battle between the MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA) and the visiting Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA), saw MMI Preparatory School's baseball team gain a win over Northwest Area by a tally of 3-0.

The (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA). The Tigers enter the Wyoming Valley 2 battle with a 0-14 record. In their last battle, Tunkhannock by Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 15-10, in a league battle.

Next, the Rangers face the Millville Quakers (Millville, PA) in a Mid-Penn D4 battle, on Tuesday, April 29. Northwest Area will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Quakers enter the battle with a 9-4 record after their 6-5 league loss to Neumann Regional Academy (Williamsport, PA).
